a.  Israel and Judah face imminent judgment at the hands of foreign nations.
          b.  But "in the last days," Zion will be exalted above all the nations, and Gentiles will come to Jerusalem to learn about God.  Wars will cease.  This is the first time that Gentiles are specifically included in God's plan.
         c.  A king from David's line will rule all the earth from Jerusalem, and bring peace to the nations.
         d.  Micah lays down a new religious ethic based on daily conduct and humility.
