3.57 Deuteronomy -- The Blessings of Obedience
Israel will reap the blessings if they obeyed the laws of God. These blessings included:

a. long life (Deut 4:40, Deut 30:20)
b. increase in children and crops (Deut 7:12-14, Deut 11:13-15)
c. freedom from disease, healing

The Lord will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt (Deut 7:15).
This promise is found elsewhere in the Exodus account: Ex 15:26 and Ex 23:25-26. Whether through natural means or miracles, God's plan for Israel involved physical wellbeing. This can be understood as a specific application of the blessing of Aaron on Israel (Num 6:24-26):

"the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you."
The turning of the Lord's face upon the individual gives full healing and prosperity. It is not an irregular or exceptional blessing, but a covenant promise.

d. prosperity (Deut 8:7-10).
e. whatever land they walk on they shall possess (Deut 11:24-25)
f. Israel shall lend but not borrow, rule over others, but not be ruled (Deut 15:6).
g. Israel shall be glorified among the nations.

Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you (Deut 28:10).

The Lord will make you the head, not the tail (Deut 28:13).
