a. Jesus Christ is the focus of church life and teaching.  
           b. Believers must not be distracted by either conformity to the world or hyper-spirituality.
           c. The mystery of God is at last revealed, that Christ brings salvation to the Gentiles.
           d. Race and class differences are transcended in the new life of the Spirit.
           e. Instead of announcing a new morality, Paul decrees a new motivation for morality:  "whatever you do," do it in Jesus' Name.
           f.  To ensure peace in the fellowship, Paul was willing to personally pay the debts of a slave.
